The Baltimore Community Mediation Center (BCMC) has operated in Baltimore since 1995, providing no-cost, accessible, and inclusive mediation services throughout the city. BCMC strives to repair relationships; prevent violence, property destruction and division in neighborhoods; and to intervene before and after civil and criminal court charges are filed. The goal is to create a peaceful Baltimore, where all residents have the skills to manage and transform conflict and have access to and use community-based conflict resolution programs. This grant provided funds for a new Development Director position.
