The Fund for Educational Excellence focuses on three key areas of work: supporting innovation in Baltimore City Schools; fundraising in support of district effectiveness efforts; and developing knowledge about and then advocating for policies and practices to serve city students better. The working relationship that the Fund has built with City Schools has enabled it to introduce innovative ideas and help identify the resources to pilot them. This grant provided general operating support.
