Since 2012, HLMS has served as the neighborhood partner for the Goldseker Foundation’s Neighborhood-School Partnership Initiative, helping to raise awareness of the high quality school options available in Northeast Baltimore at Hamilton Elementary Middle School, City Neighbors Charter School, and St. Francis of Assisi School. In 2016, HLMS also received funding from the Goldseker Foundation to launch a communications campaign to support Garrett Heights Elementary Middle School in its transition to a Montessori model, with a focus on increasing enrollment at the school from its Lauraville neighborhood zone. This grant provided an additional $5,000 for marketing activities related to recruitment in the 2017-2018 school year.
