Improving Education manages a multi-school Networked Improvement Community through which teachers, administrators, and community members work together to redesign instruction and support for students to improve early literacy outcomes in PreK through second grade classrooms. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Improving Education began preparing “Learning in a Box” kits of essential materials to support grade Pk-2nd students in at-home learning. This grant provided funds to support the Learning in a Box initiative.
