The Maryland Province Jesuits have founded two schools in Baltimore serving low-income students in need of access to high quality educational opportunities: St. Ignatius Loyola Academy which serves middle school boys, and Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. The Loyola Early Learning Center is a new effort to provide a pre-school daycare center and early childhood education program focused on the holistic development of children from low-income families. This grant provided funds for start-up support and required a 1:1 match.
