Southeast Community Development Corporation

The mission of Southeast CDC is to promote the healthy, dynamic and diverse communities of Southeast Baltimore. Its operating budget supports the Highlandtown Main Street program, two community schools, three Healthy Neighborhoods, a YouthWorks summer jobs program, five housing counseling positions, and program management. The SECDC manages another $2 million in funding for programs such as 100 after-school spots, emergency housing assistance, and state investment in redevelopment projects. As neighborhoods immediately south and east of Patterson Park have strengthened, the CDC has begun to move resources north and east to respond to market conditions in more distressed communities. This $100,000 grant provided core operating support.
