Southwest Partnership

The Southwest Partnership was formed when the leaders of seven neighborhoods representing more than 10,000 people in Southwest Baltimore came together to work with the University of Maryland Baltimore, the University of Maryland BioPark, and Wexford Science and Technology to capitalize on the development of the area just west of Martin Luther King Boulevard to benefit the surrounding neighborhoods. This grant matches funds contributed by the University of Maryland Baltimore, the University of Maryland BioPark, and Wexford Science and Technology, to support an ambitious and inclusive neighborhood planning process. The Neighborhood Design Center serves as fiscal agent for this grant.
