For nearly a decade, Springboard Collaborative has coached teachers and parents to set goals together, practice evidence-based reading strategies, measure progress, and celebrate success. Springboard Collaborative was preparing to launch after-school programming at 23 Baltimore City public schools when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The organization quickly pivoted to provide digital resources for families and training for teachers to engage with families virtually. This grant provided funds to enable Springboard Collaborative to offer virtual summer learning to 1,000 students across 14 schools in Baltimore City.
