Venture for America is a nonprofit organization that aims to strengthen U.S. cities and promote job creation by directing highly-talented, recent college graduates into startups and growth organizations that would benefit from a significant increase in human capital. VFA focuses on cities that have a strong commitment to revitalizing the regional economy through entrepreneurship. VFA partners with startups and growth companies looking to hire and develop talented young people, fostering a new wave of future startup builders in each city. The grant provided funds for recruitment, training, and placement of fellows in Baltimore.
