University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law

For nearly two centuries, the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law has been an engine for leadership in law, business, and public service in Baltimore, nationally and recently, internationally. In response to the housing crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Law School collaborated with the University of Maryland School of Social Work to develop the Eviction Prevention Project (EPP). This new clinic seeks to address the acute housing needs faced by many individuals and families in Baltimore City. This grant provided project support.
