The mission of Backyard Basecamp is to inspire Black, Indigenous, and all People of Color (BIPOC) across Baltimore City to find nature where they are and empower them to explore further. Backyard Basecamp operates Bliss Meadows, an urban community farm, nature education programming hub, and accessible green space located in Northeast Baltimore. This grant provided funds for operating support.
