Baltimore Racial Justice Action

Baltimore Racial Justice Action (BRJA) was formed in 2003 as an all-volunteer organization, providing a place for
individuals who were committed to racial justice and actively engaged in anti-racism work to come together. By 2015 BRJA added to its activities racial equity consultation with organizations and institutions who were seeking to become more racially diverse and to understand how to move toward racial justice in their mission, programs, and culture. Since then BRJA has worked with a wide range of non-profit organizations, mostly in the Baltimore-Washington area. This grant provided funds for a financial management consultant to support BRJA’s growth in offering more racial justice education to the general public as well as exploration of new partnership opportunities.
