Venture for America (VFA) is a nonprofit organization that aims to strengthen U.S. cities and promote job creation by directing highly-talented, recent college graduates into start-ups and growth organizations. VFA focuses on cities that typically struggle to attract top talent, but have a strong commitment to revitalizing the regional economy through entrepreneurship. In 2019, VFA placed 20 new fellows with Baltimore companies. This grant provided core operating support.
