Clay Hill Public Charter School
- 12/06/2022
In the fall of 2021, with the help of funding from the Goldseker Foundation, Patterson Park Public Charter School, Inc. was able to successfully replicate its program and open Clay Hill Public Charter School (CHPCS). Now in year two, CHPCS is thriving, currently serving a very diverse student body of 255 students. At full capacity, CHPCS will grow to serve 540 students in Kindergarten to 8th grade within the next five years.
In order to reach that scale, CHPCS is embarking on a plan that will allow the school to grow to capacity in its permanent home. They will need to renovate their space to allow for six additional classrooms and implement critical upgrades to the facility, including internet, air conditioning, and a full electrical upgrade. CHPCS has identified a team of planning experts including architects and financial advisors. This grant provided funds to offset the costs of this pre-construction work.
