4MyCiTy has taken a bold stance in addressing the systemic problems facing the Baltimore community.
Since its inception in 2020, the organization has added complimentary programs aimed at combating food insecurity, improving access to healthy food resources, promoting composting, and enhancing environmental sustainability efforts across Baltimore City. 4MyCity recently moved to a warehouse in West Baltimore which contains the first composting facility within Baltimore city limits. This facility will be able to process up to 24 tons of food waste daily and will be completely free for city residents to utilize. This grant provided core operating support.
