B’More Community Food was initially a volunteer city feeding program founded by documentary film producer and diversity consultant J.C. Faulk in response to the COVID pandemic. By its second year (2021), B’More Community Food had distributed 1.7 million pounds of food, typically in 35 – 40 pound bags distributed across curbside and partner sites across Baltimore. In 2022, B’More Community Food projects it will distribute 2.5+ million pounds of food. This grant provided support for the Community Food Bank.
