The Invest York Road (IYR) initiative to address a major challenge faced along the York Road corridor: lack of control over commercial real-estate. The effort is using innovative approaches to organizing local financial capital for the purpose of purchasing and managing commercial properties in the York Road corridor. The IYR strategy empowers locals to drive change in their community by using accessible small-dollar investments to create a more healthy, safe and economically vibrant community. This grant provided operating support.
