Our Grantees

The Goldseker Foundation makes grants primarily in the areas of community development, education, and strengthening the nonprofit sector. We seek opportunities to invest in the people, ideas, and institutions that promote the long-term economic and social progress of our city.

The foundation remains a directly engaged and active partner with our grantees in their efforts to revive and sustain vibrant neighborhoods, strengthen and market great schools, and expand and improve the effectiveness of their programs.

  • Roland Park Community Foundation (RPCF)

In December 2021, the Roland Park Community Foundation (RPCF) signed a Purchase and Sale Agreement to purchase 20 acres of undeveloped land from the Baltimore Country Club (BCC) to create Hillside Park, which will be the largest new public park of its size in Baltimore in over a century. The plans are to create a park that includes walking paths, open scenic spaces, a playground, an open-air amphitheater, and playing fields. RPCF raised $8.5M for the purchase from over 650 donors.

This Management Assistance Grant will fund a landscape architect to create a strategic plan for the park.
