Arts for Learning

Through Arts for Learning, professional teaching artists from all disciplines partner with educators, schools, and school districts to provide, on average, over 300,000 hours of learning in, through, and about the arts to more than 185,000 Maryland students annually. In 2025, the Baltimore City School Board voted to approve Arts for Learning as its first new charter school operator in more than 10 years, to convert Thomas Jefferson Elementary/Middle School into Dream Academy, Maryland’s first artist-integrated public charter school.
