Baltimore Tree Trust
Baltimore Tree Trust restores and expands Baltimore City’s urban tree canopy to improve neighborhood health, environmental quality, and climate resilience.
Its mission is to plant and steward trees in underserved communities while creating workforce development opportunities in urban forestry. Through large-scale tree planting, maintenance, and training programs, the organization advances environmental equity, reduces stormwater runoff and heat island effects, and engages residents in long-term neighborhood greening efforts.
