Black Women Build Baltimore
Black Women Build Baltimore advances homeownership and wealth-building opportunities for Black women through hands-on construction training and the rehabilitation of vacant properties in Baltimore.
Its model combines affordable housing development with practical education in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and other building trades. By engaging women directly in the renovation of homes they can purchase, the organization promotes financial independence, workforce skills, and neighborhood revitalization.
