Civil Justice, Inc. expands access to civil legal services for low- and moderate-income residents.

It operates in-house programs and partners with a statewide network of solo and small-firm lawyers to provide legal assistance in areas such as housing, eviction defense, consumer protection, foreclosure, and other civil matters. Together with the United Way of Central Maryland, Civil Justice operates the State’s innovative coordinated intake system for tenants facing eviction.
