Community Law in Action

Community Law in Action (CLIA) empowers Baltimore City youth to become equipped leaders and advocates for positive community change by fostering youth–adult partnerships and amplifying young people’s voices in policy and decision-making processes.

CLIA’s vision is for Maryland to value and engage youth as equitable partners in decisions that affect them, and it provides leadership development, advocacy training, and opportunities to influence public policy and social justice efforts.
