Hope Harbor CDC

Hope Harbor CDC is dedicated to revitalizing twelve neighborhoods along the Edmondson Avenue/Route 40 corridor—Allendale, Edgewood, Edmondson Village, Hunting Ridge, Irvington, Rognel Heights, Saint Josephs, Ten Hills, Tremont, Uplands, Westgate, and West Hills.

Formed in 2010 as an affiliate of St. Bartholomew’s Church, with support from neighboring congregations, Hope Harbor began by addressing poverty, food insecurity, and educational disparities. Post-pandemic, it has shifted toward systemic neighborhood revitalization—partnering with community associations, developers, elected officials, City agencies, and financial institutions to create and preserve housing. Its goals include rehabilitating vacant and distressed homes, supporting legacy residents, and fostering inclusive growth through collaborations with local job-training organizations.
