Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) protects and advances the rights of unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children in Baltimore through free legal representation and holistic support services.
KIND’s Baltimore office provides direct representation in immigration proceedings, advocates for children’s safety and due process, and partners with pro bono attorneys to expand capacity. Through legal services and community collaboration, KIND works to ensure vulnerable children have protection and a fair opportunity to remain safely in the United States.
