Next Generation Language Access
Next Generation Language Access (NGLA) addresses the growing need for equitable access to community services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals.
The organization trains bilingual high school students to become professional interpreters, creating career opportunities while bridging language gaps in settings like healthcare, education, and social services. NGLA’s mission is to reduce barriers caused by a shortage of trained interpreters and to promote language equity by preparing the next generation of community-based language professionals.
