Public Justice Center pursues systemic change to build a just society by using legal advocacy to advance social justice, economic and racial equity, and fundamental human rights.
Through litigation, policy advocacy, coalition building, and community partnerships, it works to reform systems affecting housing, workers’ rights, education, healthcare access, and the rights of incarcerated people. Its approach focuses on achieving lasting changes to laws, policies, and practices that affect communities across Maryland.
