Turnaround Tuesday

Turnaround Tuesday, a BUILD-sponsored workforce initiative, connects local residents, often returning citizens, to livable-wage jobs through skills training and employer partnerships.

Working with anchor institutions including Johns Hopkins, UMB, MedStar, LifeBridge, and others, Turnaround Tuesday places residents into, with a median starting wage of $18.50 and a 71 percent retention rate. Turnaround Tuesday also operates a formal reentry program in State correctional facilities for individuals within 90 days of release.
